Your tasks
IT specialists (f/m/d) specializing in system integration, install and administer networked IT systems – both in-house and externally for customers. You can expect an extremely diverse career field with many varied tasks. You must always be up to date with the latest technical developments in order to be able to react to constantly changing requirements.
Your field of activity will look like this after you have been carefully trained:
- You install, configure and administer networked IT systems
- You will manage (virtual) networks and firewalls
- You administer Microsoft Hyper V/VM Ware server infrastructures
- You administer DevOps environments for our development team
- You administer mail servers (Microsoft Exchange)
- You design and implement modern information and telecommunication technologies (e.g. Microsoft 365 or Office 365)
- You and your team are the first point of contact when it comes to troubleshooting IT systems
What do I earn as an IT specialist during my apprenticeship?
You’d probably like to know how much you earn as an apprentice, right? As an IT specialist in any field, you’ll receive about 950 € per month in the first year of training (2nd year: about 1,000 €; 3rd year: about 1,100 €). Your profile
We are looking for people, not degrees (nevertheless, we give you an orientation below).
Required criteria:
- Abitur or Fachhochschulreife (Advanced technical college certificate)
- passion for IT topics and digitalization
- logical-systematic thinking
- communication and ability to work in a team
- very good language skills in German
Desired criteria:
- Basic knowledge of network protocols, relational databases and operating systems
