The Project Management section of Dynamics 365 Business Central helps you manage your jobs and deliver on time and on budget.
Create and manage jobs including time sheets centrally in your system. You can also compare quotes and actual costs at any time. Finally, you can make statements about the course of the job (e.g. profitability, job status, resource utilization) based on condensed real-time information at any time.

In Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can perform budgeting per project. The budget can be very simple or complex, covering a large number of items divided into different activity levels.
On the one hand, the budget is used to plan the resources that will be assigned to a project. On the other hand, it allows you to compare your planned amounts with the actual consumption at any time, which makes it easy to control an ongoing project. Moreover, this approach contributes to a higher quality in later projects, as it reduces the risk of underestimated costs.
In an ongoing project, job costs (e.g. resource usage, material, job-related purchases) may be incurred and documented in Dynamics 365 Business Central. These are regularly invoiced to the customer.
