The components of your dual course of study
IHK Training (optional)
In addition to your studies, you can complete your training as an IT specialist for application development at our company.
Study
You can choose between the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the FH Münster and Business Informatics at the FOM Hochschule.

After the dual study program, if you choose to do so, you will have two qualifications in your hand: the internationally recognized bachelor’s degree and the completed IHK training.

Your tasks
As a computer science student in a dual bachelor’s degree program, you can expect a very varied training program. You enjoy a combination of a skilled worker training as a computer scientist with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. After the first year of pure education, the actual study begins. Your tasks include:
- You advise and support customers empathetically and honestly
- You develop new, customer-specific information and communication systems by enhancing existing hardware or software or introducing new ones
- You perform system tests to ensure that hardware and software function properly
- You troubleshoot existing customer systems
Your profile
We are looking for people, not degrees (nevertheless, we give you an orientation below).
You are characterized by independent and goal-oriented work and like to show initiative – both in the team and alone? You are decisive, show dedication and are open for new experiences? Then apply for a place for a dual degree course with us. We will then register you at the University of Applied Sciences Münster and reserve your place. In addition to the above properties, we expect:
- Abitur
- logical-systematic thinking
- affinity for technology and interest in IT topics
- ability to communicate and work in a team
- very good language skills in German
You are enthusiastic about the job description, but you think that you can’t fulfill the specifications 100%? That doesn’t matter! We will tackle the missing percentages together.
